A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR E-LEARNING AND ONLINE SERVICES
Welcome to the future of learning at Hindustan Sarva Vidhyapeeth!
E-learning is described as the use of electronic technologies in learning, teaching and research. It can be defined as the use of computer and Internet technologies to deliver a broad array of solutions to enable learning and improve performance. E-Learning exploits interactive technologies and communication systems to improve the learning experience. It has the potential to transform the way we teach and learn across the board.
The purpose of E-Learning center is to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for both faculty and students to cope with world class educational institutions. It can be as simple as High School students watching a video documentary in class or as complex as an entire HSV courses provided online. E-Learning began decades ago with the introduction of televisions and over-head projectors in classrooms and has advanced to include interactive computer programmes, 3D simulations, video and telephone conferencing and real-time online discussion groups comprised of students from all over the world.
As technology advances, so does e-learning, making the possibilities endless. Moreover, e-learning reaches a wider target audience by engaging learners who have difficulty attending conventional classroom training. Develop an e-learning world where learners, teachers and researchers use technology to enhance the overall educational experience both in campus and off campus.
The Director along with HSV council has placed considerable emphasis on the importance of E-Learning for the future of the educational Sector. The mandate of the E-Learning Centre is to support, guide and facilitate teaching and learning processes for faculty and students by endorsing, implementing and maintaining the use of educational technologies. In a competitive higher education segment, E-Learning services are necessary to meet the expectations of faculty and students.
